Our story
Two generations, one goal: to be first.
A plant that develops its own technology and trains its own people — still working the same way today.
Doğan Plastik was founded in 1979 by M. Turhan Ünlüdoğan to produce spools, rolls and bobbins for the textile industry. The raw-material crisis of 1982 moved the company into recycling: polyethylene, polystyrene and — for the first time in Türkiye — polypropylene recovery, plus the country's first PVC micronisation.
In the 2000s new investments added glassware accessory lines. Patents and design registrations quickly followed, making the company a principal supplier to major producers and the only plant able to manufacture plastic, wooden and metal closures under one roof.
In 2005 the company entered transport and storage packaging with citrus crates. The second plant, commissioned in 2007, became the region's largest injection moulding facility and the home of plastic pallet production, turning a regional producer into an international supplier.
In 2013 it became the first company in Türkiye to produce foldable containers — one of only a handful of manufacturers worldwide. In 2014 it set a new benchmark with pallets rated for 1.8 tonnes of racking load.
In 2021 a dedicated plastic pallet developed for air cargo became the operational standard at a mega cargo hub. Today we serve food, beverage, agriculture, automotive, chemical, logistics and textile companies with pallets and handling solutions.
